Inspection Types.

New Construction/Pre-Drywall Inspection

A New Construction, In-Progress Inspection or also known as a Phase Inspection, can let builders know of any defects that might be present in the home before the builder moves on to the next phase. These inspections can be done at any phase, most common is pre-drywall.

New Construction / Pre-Closing

The project can be inspected before the final walk-through with the builder to uncover any defects that might exist prior to closing on the home.

Detached Buildings / Garages

These inspections can cover a wide variety depending on the usage of the detached structure. From complete construction, to HVAC, Safety, Plumbing and Electrical including wiring and sub panels, Structural, Attic, Roofing and all Interior structures, like baths, kitchen systems, and fixtures.

Pre-Listing / Pre-Buying Inspection

A Pre-Listing Inspection is a great option for home sellers who want to find issues in the home before a potential buyer does. The same goes for someone who is looking to buy a home and wants to make sure all is sound before making such a big purchase. 

11 Month Warranty

Typically builders offer a 12 month warranty on their workmanship and materials. Having an 11 month inspection uncovers any defects that might exist before a builders warranty expires.

Re-Inspection

 After all repairs have been made, a second home inspection or re-inspection can be scheduled to ensure that they have been done correctly, safely and as requested. Contact us to find out the fee.

What to expect...

​Upon your initial contacting of A2Z Home Inspections, we will get back to you promptly! We will be asking you further questions about your home, and getting down the necessary information to not only schedule your inspection but to ensure the proper pricing. We will walk you through our process and answer any questions you may have.

Example: For a Sellers Inspection or New Build 11 Month Warranty Inspection; Andy will meet with you to be given access to your home, go over any quick questions you may have, but once he arrives on site, he will perform his inspection "Alone". This is vital in order to give your home the attention to detail it deserves and to provide you with a thorough report. Each inspection on average takes a total time of 1.5 - 3 hours.

As for any inspection, if the clients is available, Andy will meet with you and/or your realtor towards the end of the inspection to perform a walk-through to go over his main findings which typically takes about 20-30 min.

All of the above of course depends on the type of inspection being performed, the size of the home and any additional items pertaining to that specific inspection.

Report Delivery.

During the inspection, we review and assess all areas of the property. Our reports include notes, photos and other important information necessary for you to make a smart, sound decision. The Report will be delivered to you electronically. We aim to deliver a thorough and comprehensive report as quickly as possible (within 24 hours or less).​
Photos: We provide our clients with a complete photo report showing the condition of each problem area at the time of the inspection appointment. ​
Narratives: We ensure that each defect is spelled out in easy to understand terms. We recommend the best course of action in order to achieve satisfactory repairs or replacement. 
Videos: We will occasionally take video when there is an area or item that will be communicated to you easier in that format.

Note: Reports will be delivered via email in a pdf format of your inspection. If you are in need of a physical copy, please note there will be an additional fee of $20 and may take a few more days in order to process and mail.
